The Conservative Partnership Institute (CPI) is a Washington D.C.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2017 by Jim DeMint.
The Conservative Partnership Institute describes its purpose as "providing a platform for citizen leaders, the conservative movement, Members of Congress, congressional staff and scholars to be connected. The organization works to provide these leaders with the tools, tactics, resources and strategies to help make them successful in advancing conservative policy solutions."
The Conservative Partnership Institute is a partner of State Policy Network associate member Forge Leadership Network, an Ohio-based, right-wing recruiting and training operation.
The stated purpose of the Conservative Partnership Institute is the professional development of conservative staffers and elected officials - aligned with the mission of The Heritage Foundation (which Jim DeMint headed as President from 2013-2017, until he was ousted in 2017-05).

Too often, conservatives send new leaders to Washington, D.C., but see disappointing results when they get there. The truth is that many of these men and women want to do the right thing, but find it difficult to succeed as conservatives in Washington where they are surrounded by enormous institutional and media pressures to bend to the status quo of big government.
CPI is led by former Congressman and Senator Jim DeMint and a team of experienced Capitol Hill veterans who have fought and beaten back the Washington establishment. The organization has access to the best policy research and scholars in the conservative movement, unmatched expertise in House and Senate procedure, and the relationships necessary to help conservatives on Capitol Hill succeed in restoring America to its founding principles.
CPI does not take positions on legislation or engage in lobbying or partisan campaign activities. All programs are established for the purpose of promoting conservative policies and principles and are not based on considerations of any political party.
CPI Senior Director of Policy, Rachel Bovard.html, regularly hosts four to five-week seminars which focus on the best tactics, strategies, and tools for conservatives to translate good policy into substantive action on the House and Senate floors. Among our premier offerings are Senate Procedure and Strategy, and House Procedure and Strategy, which are taught by veteran Capitol Hill staff and are designed to train conservative Hill staff and movement strategists on key parliamentary procedures and tactics.
CPI’s training canon includes other key skills based courses for Hill and movement staff that cover writing for policy, congressional oversight, and managing the administrative state. Training courses also focus on key policy areas, including health care, energy and infrastructure, and the federal budget.

Digital communication isn’t rocket science. But, it does take training, practice, and mentorship. The Revere Project has tapped industry leaders to create a training program that will graduate digital and communications professionals on Capitol Hill with the skills necessary to win the messaging war.
